It doesnt work. It cant hear you half the time even when yelling into the mic and what it does hear is nothing like what you are actually saying. Siri has a 50% failure rate at understanding me but hound is at 7%. Very disappointed in this app.

Too bad it couldnt be launched by holding down the home button! Apple has had Siri over 4 years to improve it and this makes it look pretty novice.

I either have to shout or speak directly into the microphone for hound to hear what Im saying, and "OK hound doesnt work".

Just keeps playing the tutorial over and over. I get it. Let me just as around in the app. Also terrible UX that when you start the tutorial, you cant quit it.

If I have to open the app, Ill use Google Now itself right? why do I need one more app? Anyway, itll good if, once phone is unlocked, (on battery or on charge), like iPhones assistive touch, a floating hound logo should be available on any screen, where you can touch it or activate by voice. Anyway, I prefer that option by Google now. Nice try Hound. Keep it up.

Its a good app but the voice is just a little bit fast. I love how lighting fast it is in responding when compared to Siri.

Just heard about from Leo Laporte on TWIT and absolutely love it, hoping for more features.

HOUND does more than I expected. It works great for what I need and does things that Siri cant. Love this app.

Wish we could use this as the main voice assistant instead of Siri. My only request right now is to have routing directions open in google maps INSTEAD of Apple Maps.

Weather is broken for Minnesota. Love all the features, especially the follow-up questions and the ability to get results for "where can I hide a dead body", put any queries about weather for Minnesota returns a "weather results are unavailable" message. Plz fix!

Beats Siri, Google, Cortana hands down I didnt think I would need another voice personal assistant app but Im glad I give app a try this will become an Apple essential very shortly.

Hound is very fast and, for the most part, accurate. The big stumbling block Ive run into is simply that I cant get results on quite a few queries I attempt. Whats more, I can try the same query from the Google app via voice and get the result I had been looking for but couldnt get with Hound.

It did not correctly interpret my dictation, and I dont have an unusual accent. Also, whether it transcribed my query correctly or not, it usually answered before the query was completely dictated. Therefore, it was essentially useless.

Good luck with the weird Yahoo and Yelp results.

Does the first search and then immediately the search button comes on again without leaving the option to browse the results. Havent found a way to dismiss it.

This is better than Siri

The app gets stuck on its intro presentation and wont even open to function!

Wow is probably all that needs to be said about this app. They have really taken the digital personal assistant to the next level. Now if we could just get Apple to allow us to use it by default we would be living the life. Great app, great execution of an amazing idea, and great way to push the envelope of whats possible. Good job guys!
